Around 25,000 households in Queensland's southeast were left without power on Monday's dawn after severe thunderstorms passed over the region, producing powerful gusts topping 109km/h.
Substantial Hailstones and Widespread Destruction
Homeowners witnessed giant hailstones reaching sizes of seven centimeters in some areas. Meteorological experts announced that various areas across the state had been impacted by significant hail.
